פְּקוֹקֶלֶתf., pl. פְּקוֹקְלוֹת (reduplic. of פָּקַל) ramification of sinews. Sifra Vayikra, Ndab., ch. XVII, Par. 14 (ref. to החלב … על הכסלים, Lev. 3:10) זה החלב שבין הפ׳ that means the fat between the sinews (in the loins); Tosef.Ḥull.IX, 14 פְּקוֹקְרוֹת; Yalk. Lev. 462 הפקוקרות (or הפְּקוֹקֶרֶת). Sifra l. c., ch. XIX (ref. to Lev. 3:9) להביא את החלב הסמוך … בין הפ׳ this includes the fat near the tail, which is the fat between the sinews.
